Position Summary:Next Street is looking to add an experienced Sales and Marketing Strategy Managing Associate / Associate to its team of client-services professionals. We are seeking a high-performing, experienced candidate from a top-tier management or sales consulting firm or internal sales team with a large corporation. He/she will work closely with other members of the organization and will be responsible for leading client engagements, providing sales and marketing strategy, and supporting execution of key initiatives to help portfolio companies to drive sales. This is a new position being added to our Advisory team. He/she will work as a part of client teams as the sales strategy expert. He/she will be asked to adapt the tools and techniques used with large companies for use in the Next Street target market. The position requires a strong work ethic and an ability to work independently. Client teams are leanly staffed, giving team members the opportunity to play a key role in advising and implementing recommendations, take on added responsibility, and interact with senior management. Duties and Responsibilities:This team member will help our clients achieve sales success by delivering customized solutions and business transformations. He/she will be asked to utilize strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to help define and develop client sales processes, identify existing best practices, build models that replicate these practices, fill in gaps with new practices where needed, and measure the results to ensure that recommendations are translated into results. The Sales and Marketing Strategy Managing Associate / Associate will be responsible for recommending, and assisting with implementation of, new sales strategies that may include sales team redesign, sales compensation models, sales process and tracking revision, and / or marketing.
