Next Street, with the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City and Karp Resources, released a report entitled Designing an Inner City Food Cluster Strategy. The study, conducted in partnership with the Economic Development Administration, focused on food clusters in two pilot cities, Boston and Detroit. The research helped to demonstrate the importance of inner city assets and the viability of vibrant inner city clusters within regional economies. Additionally, it worked to show the broad potential of cluster policy to strengthen local and regional economies.
