Chance joined Next Street in May 2019 as a Senior Analyst in the New York office. He provides strategic planning, financial, and economic development advisory services to assist clients to expand their impact on local communities.
Prior to joining Next Street, Chance worked a Senior Associate in Advisory Services at the Nonprofit Finance Fund, where he worked on a range of consulting engagements with nonprofit and foundation clients providing strategic financial advice. Prior to NFF, Chance worked at Opportunity Finance Network (OFN), where he advised CDFIs and nonprofits on growth strategy, product design, portfolio management, and due diligence. Immediately after college, Chance served as a New York City Urban Fellow for the Deputy Mayor for Housing and Economic Development.
Chance graduated from Brown University in 2014 with a degree in Public Policy and American Institutions. Chance is passionate about expanding opportunities for low-income communities and supporting African American entrepreneurs in closing the racial wealth gap.
