Meaghan joined the Boston Office in August 2017, bringing a decade of experience working in social impact initiatives with global organizations, nonprofits, foundations, and in the public and private sectors. At Next Street, Meaghan focuses on supporting and advising clients in driving sustainable organizational growth, with a lens towards economic development outcomes for surrounding communities. Example engagements include supporting a national community lender (CDFI) with executing key elements of a new strategic plan, advising a community foundation on standing up an investment program to drive flexible capital to small businesses in the state, and designing multiple diverse supplier procurement initiatives with large anchor institutions.
Prior to joining Next Street, Meaghan supported the development of country strategy and budget planning at USAID for developing countries in Asia and the Middle East. She then worked with nonprofits, INGOs, veteran re-entry programs, and social impact organizations at Accenture to drive strategic growth and impactful outcomes. Meaghan has also led global workforce initiatives to bring skills gap solutions to emerging markets. Meaghan received her B.A. from Georgetown University.
On working at Next Street
“This country’s wealth gap is massive and increasing. I’m at Next Street because the firm works to address this gap by driving inclusive solutions, centering its focus on small business as the driver of economic growth nationwide. Every one of my colleagues comes to work each day ready to roll up sleeves and work hard to address these community development challenges.”
Outside of Next Street
