Spencer joined Next Street in 2018. As a Director he provides strategic, financial, and operational advisory services to a wide variety of clients to help expand their impact on small business ecosystems locally and nationally. While at Next Street, Spencer has worked across civic, private, and social sectors, with particular experience with government programs and policies.

Prior to joining Next Street, Spencer worked in consulting at L.E.K. Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers Strategy&, where he gained experience on projects involving growth and operations strategy. He supported clients across retail and consumer, industrial, and healthcare sectors on topics including strategic planning, organizational transformations, and private equity investment due diligence. Spencer holds bachelor’s degrees from the University of Michigan in Economics and Industrial and Operations Engineering and is an Executive Master of Public Administration candidate at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
Outside of Next Street
Outside of work, Spencer loves exploring the New York food and music scene and supporting all aspects of University of Michigan and Los Angeles-based sports.
