Michel is Next Street’s Head of People and Culture. In this role she is responsible for developing and executing a people and culture strategy that aligns with Next Street’s mission, values, and business goals. She also oversees the firm’s human resource compliance and administration, employee lifecycle and employee experience, talent strategy, and organizational development.

Prior to joining Next Street, Michel was the Organizational Development Lead at Dell Technologies, where she led talent strategy for a 50K-person business unit. Before transitioning to the talent space, she spent 15 years in consulting, marketing, and product strategy across the healthcare, higher ed, and tech industries. Michel has an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and a BS from Stanford University. Michel resides just outside of Austin, TX.
Michel has been an entrepreneur throughout her career. Currently, she runs The Culture Design Lab as a side hustle, where she has provided talent and culture strategy support for early-stage companies since 2019. She is about to release her first book, CULTŪRA, designed to help early-stage founders create inclusive company cultures.
Outside of Next Street
When she’s not at work, Michel is either doing a puzzle or playing video games with her sons.
