Next Street is pleased to announce the promotion of Donald Jones to Partner at Next Street. As a Partner, Donald will now have expanded responsibilities for firm management across the board – including vision, strategy, priorities, values, and culture. Donald will continue to lead Next Street’s Programs team, in partnership with Samantha Berg, which is responsible for designing and delivering Next Street’s suite of small business curriculum and programs solutions.
Since joining in 2013, Donald has been an integral and invaluable member of the firm’s leadership team, developing small business resources and services for BIPOC businesses in cities across the country. As the Head of the firm’s Programs team, Donald provided over 4,000 entrepreneurs and small business owners with the development products, services, and resources to launch, sustain, and grow their businesses.
We are confident Donald will continue to help small businesses thrive by identifying and tackling long-standing socioeconomic barriers that have traditionally excluded marginalized communities.
