We are pleased to announce that Ann Lewis has joined as Next Street’s first ever Chief Technology Officer and Partner. Next Street continues to deliver solutions developed with the best interest of small business owners in mind. As we begin to build more tech-enabled solutions for entrepreneurs, we are lucky to have Ann’s expertise.
Prior to joining Next Street, Ann was Senior Advisor for Technology and Delivery to the administrator at the US Small Business Administration, where she worked on technical strategy and service delivery for American Rescue Plan programs, technology modernization, and capacity building, and the many places where policy implementation intersects with technology.
Ann is a tech industry veteran with deep expertise in cloud architecture, full-stack software development, distributed systems scaling, and cyber security. She started her career as an early software engineer at Amazon, when Amazon was still a small business, and subsequently worked as a software engineer and technical leader at startups, consulting companies, and edtech companies. From 2015-2021 Ann was the CTO of MoveOn.org, where she built the in-house tech team and helped the organization build and scale up core infrastructure.
