Assessing the role of CDFIs in Central and South Texas

Next Street was engaged by Methodist Healthcare Ministries to conduct a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) scan of the 74-county area surrounding San Antonio Texas. The goal of this work was to accelerate an understanding of community development capital flows as they build out their Health Equity Framework. Our research was conducted through in-depth desk research and literature review, primary research, and the exploration of relevant case studies; resulting in a robust set of identified CDFIs.
