This Black History Month, Next Street celebrates the Black-owned small businesses we have had the privilege to serve. Da Book Joint in Chicago, Cornel’s Catering in New York, and Junebug Jewelry Designs in Cincinnati are just a few examples of the many Black-led businesses we are proud to support in our local communities. Across the country, Black entrepreneurs are central to our economy and national identity, generating more than $190 billion in revenues and creating 1.2 million jobs that foster generational wealth and vibrant communities.

As we honor our Black entrepreneurs and their achievements and contributions, we also recognize that their success is in spite of an increasingly fractured small business infrastructure across our country.
