Alexander is a Senior Manager in the New York office. Alexander originally joined Next Street as a Junior Account Manager at the NYC Business Solutions Lower Manhattan Center. In this role, Alexander helped entrepreneurs and small business owners overcome obstacles by understanding their needs and connecting them with resources to help them launch or grow. Through his work with the Center, Alexander developed a deep understanding of small businesses and implemented creative, data-informed solutions to better serve small businesses.
On working at Next Street
I joined Next Street to drive economic development and help create a more inclusive economy, and I stay because of the opportunity to interact and assist with business owners daily.
Alexander is a graduate of the University Minnesota – Twin Cities, where he received his BS in Economics and Mathematics. There, he worked as an Economics Research Assistant exploring topics ranging from software vulnerability disclosure to oil shale markets.
Outside of Next Street
When he’s not at work, Alexander is biking through the city on the prowl for pizza or doing independent research.
