Industrial Supply Chain Forum
Supporting small business participation in the industrial transformation
Supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Next Street’s Industrial Supply Chain Forum is bringing together public and private sector leaders to explore ideas and approaches to promote economic opportunity in the country’s industrial transition.
Across the U.S., an industrial transformation is underway, fueled by substantial public and private investments in infrastructure, manufacturing, and energy utilities. This presents businesses and workers with the opportunity to compete in new high-growth industries, which, in turn, generates business income that flows into local communities, creates quality jobs, and promotes economic mobility nationwide. Read more in our recent article, America’s industrial transformation needs a Marshall Plan for small businesses and their workers.
Next Street is establishing the Industrial Supply Chain Forum for policymakers, industry leaders, and practitioners to generate ideas and mobilize action for small businesses and workers in the industrial transformation. The Forum aims to introduce a platform for multi-stakeholder dialogue and knowledge sharing to elevate innovative industrial policies and programs across regions and sectors. Our goal is to foster collaboration and share best practices to ultimately drive economic competitiveness and inclusive growth amid the rapidly evolving industrial landscape.
