Beth Lampson is a Director in the Delivery Practice based in Next Street’s Chicago office. Beth is focused on leading teams to provide strategic and financial solutions for clients.
On working at Next Street
I joined Next Street because the firm’s mission to specifically support small businesses in order to create a more inclusive US economy is a unique approach to solving the complex problems of equitable systems change. I am excited to be a part of the solutions.
Prior to joining Next Street Beth was an Associate Principal at Civic Consulting Alliance in Chicago, a nonprofit management consulting firm serving the public sector with a focus on developing equitable solutions. There she led an effort to create a state-wide strategic action plan to close equity gaps in higher education, supported justice system reforms, and developed strategies for place-based community development. In prior roles, Beth provided fiscal sponsorship services to foundations while at Arabella Advisors, and held various positions at Northwestern University in budget and project management.
Beth holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a certificate in Project Management from Northwestern University.
Outside of Next Street
Outside of work, Beth can be found hanging out with her rescue dog Ruthie while attempting to create a roof deck garden, attending concerts, and searching out the best new restaurants in Chicago.
